Equine Encounters
Up close and personal with the best teachers I have ever known
A day with me and my horses in the Wiltshire countryside. No horse experience needed and no riding involved.

An Equine Encounter is a day spent with me and my horses, outside in the Wiltshire countryside.
No riding, no therapy, no need for any previous horse experience. Just time in their company, with a little guidance from me. If your "yes" and your body language say "maybe," the horse will not follow. If you multitask or disconnect mentally, the horse disengages.
If your presence is steady and trustworthy, the horse comes toward you.
A horse responds to the truth of who you are, not the performance of it. Which turns out to be a rather beautiful mirror for how life works generally.

Who Is It For ?
Anyone curious about themselves, and willing to be quietly honest about what they find. You do not need to have been near a horse before. You will not be asked to ride.
Days are tailored to individual needs and offered as one to one sessions or small groups of up to four people. Under 18s are welcome when accompanied by an adult.
If you have an injury, a health condition, or any concerns about being on the yard, do mention it when you get in touch and we can talk it through.

From people who have been:
"I've done this work with Sharon, it was an amazing day. Even now, a year later, it's stuck in my mind. I often think of what I learned about myself through the contact with Diego. I would absolutely recommend it for anyone who wants to know themselves more."
Jason Shiers
“"Fondest memories of a horse, and space to get over myself and drop into presence. Finding my flow with Ribbons, what a profound teacher she is. It was a magical experience. Horses don't want the mask, they just need to sense your real time energy and connection. And in return you can enter into a non-verbal, in the moment conversation. I came away deeply touched by my time with Ribbons. Sharon is a fab facilitator, patient and understanding, trusting human and horse to find their way."
Katie McVeigh
"I spent a couple of hours with Diego. It felt like we were equals working in partnership as we tuned into each other's body language. I felt incredibly moved by his presence alongside me, which I didn't expect. After some initial wobbles, I started to relax with him. Sharon is a great facilitator."
